Staff from Weyrich, Cronin & Sorra Chartered, Lutherville and Bel Air, are participating in a tax season event painting murals that will be donated to local hospitals. Each of the two offices has three canvas boards with drawings of cartoon-like sea creatures on them. The teams in the offices had to agree on the background color scheme and then were free to paint their canvas any way they wanted. The three canvas boards, when hung side-by-side will create a mural.

On Saturdays until April 14, the Houston CPA Society will provide free tax preparation assistance to nonresident students and scholars from colleges and universities in cooperation with Neighborhood Centers Inc. CPAs wishing to help can come to the University of Houston's University Center, Bayou City Room 202 on campus at 4800 Calhoun, at 9 a.m., March 17, for basic training.
