NEW YORK

Anne-Marie Vitale, currently the International Accounting Education Standards Board deputy chair, was appointed chair of the IAESB, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Vitale succeeds Chris Austin, who led the IAESB over the last four years.

Jeffrey Minton, Office of the Chief Accountant’s Chief Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission, will be retiring from the agency in January after more than 20 years with the SEC, and more than half that time in his role in OCA.
