New Jersey Accounting Firm Squares Off Against Pizzeria

It isn’t often that accounting firms have to compete against pizza parlors, but all bets are off when it comes to softball.

Every Monday for the past couple of months, MSPC, a CPA firm based in Cranford, N.J. that is affiliated with Moore Stephens International, has encountered some fierce opponents in a series of friendly, yet competitive, softball games. This past Monday, the team played Frank's Pizza in the finals and “knocked it out the park,” winning by a score of 9 to 1, according to a representative for MSPC.

That score earned MSPC the ZogSports Roselle League Championship. This team of MSPC employees represented the firm proudly, played with a lot of heart and most of all they had fun, according to an MSPC rep. You can see a photo of them below.

Best of all, as league champs, MSPC will receive a check for $500, which the firm is donating to a charity of its choice, in this case the American Cancer Society. Congrats to the team!
